Clinical Research

Clinical research is a branch of medical science that determines the safety and effectiveness of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens intended for human use. These may be used for prevention, treatment, diagnosis or for relieving symptoms of a disease.

BA/BE Studies

“bioavailability” refers to the extent to which a drug/nutrient reaches its site of action or a biological fluid such as blood that has access to its site of action.

“bioequivalence” refers to pharmaceutically equivalent drug products where the rates/extents of bioavailability of the actives are not significantly different under suitable test conditions. In other words, this is a comparison of two or more products with respect to their bioavailability.
